What impressed you the most about Mr. Gail's talk at our school? What will you remember from what you read on his website or what you heard at the assembly?

I'm not sure what impressed me about Mr.Gail. Wait i know the fact that he survived everything that went on in his family/household.

During Mr.Gail's assembly I wasn't expecting him to talk about the struggles he had with his family, so I was very impressed for him to open up like that.

During Mr. Gails assembly, I didn't know what to expect. I agree with Naye, I never thought he would tell us about his family issues because that's personal information. I also liked how he told us that us women are not objects, were people too. So when a boy hurts you or treats you wrong it should show you that he doesn't deserve you and that you shouldn't be with a guy like him. That showed me a lot, knowing that he told us that were human beings too and that just because were women doesn't mean we should be treated any different than guys.

I didnt realize the struggles mr.Gail went through i aslo did not expect the book to be about him. he has been through alot of trials throughout his life yet he is still very willing to talk about it and even write a book about it.

when mr. gail the auther of fatherless came he said nothing that i expected. i tought he was going to talk about the church for the most part. when actually he talked about his own life and how the book and the church effected it. i still found it to be interesting for the most part. what i found most interesting was when his daughter killed her self and attempted to kill her own twin. i enjoyed his speech and maybe we should have him come back.

What impressed me the most about Mr. Gail is how noble he was to tell us all about his tragic experiences. Mr. Gail shared with us the obsacles that him and his family faced. What I will remember is how much him and his family love eachother and how close they are now. I will remember that he has other books similar to "Fatherless" coming out. Also will be reminded about how much church impacted his life.

I was impressed that Mr. Gail was so open about all his hardships. I was also inspired by him. Even through all the struggles, he is still able to see the good in things. It is the perfect example of no matter how bad a situation is, things always get better.
