The most memorable charater in the novel was Moia.I feel that Moia made the novel somewhat interesting.Having Moia made the novel revolve. The scene that really stands out in my mind is when Maggie reads the letter that Moia wrote her. The letter reveals the fact that Moia's dad is having an affair with the secetary. The reason for picking this scene was because it was a real shock factor to the readers. This scene really drew me into the novel. It made me want to read more. The scene brought up issues on infedility and families falling apart. This scene was really the climax of the story.

The most memorable character for me would have to be Father Sweeney, because i never heard of a priest that was so deeply depressed and a alcoholic. Now i wonder all the time are there really priest in this world that have to deal with situations just like this or simular to this? That was really weird to me, so that character stood out the most to me. I think it was weird to me because I sometimes forget that priest are human, and they can make mistakes and sin also. The scene that stood out to me with Father Sweeney was,The visit he had with Moia. Her reaction to him was really crazy and strange. The reaction also had me thinking did Father Sweeney ever do something to Moia.. just my thoughts though.

Maggie Kealey, mother of Moia, is the most memorable character to me in the book even though she doesn't show up many times. I like her because she is the most courageous woman who always loves her family the most. She always pays attention and tries to take care of her child. She is very sad and helpless before the sudden death of Moia, but she knows that she can't collapse in this time because she is the only one who can support for her family and help them grieve over the death of Moia. I think Mr. Gail has put a lot of thoughts behind the words Maggie spoke and her behavior throughout the book. He wants people to understand the feelings of a mother for her dear daughter and the pain she has to go through after the full tragic death of Moia. The scene that really stands out in my mind is when Maggie knows that her husband has betrayed her and been dating with his secretary, Jane. I feel so sorry for Maggie because she has had a big shock about the death of her daughter and then her beloved husband has cheated on her with another woman. But it’s remarkable, Maggie does not feel anguish but peaceful. It is not a sense of loss but a sense of hope before the decision to divorce with her husband because she understands that she can't keep the thing that doesn't belong to her anymore. And now what she concerns most is her children. I so admire her because of that and she is the best woman I have ever known.

I think the most memorable character would have to be Moia because she was a troubled teenager who didn't know how to show her real feelings towards anything. She stood out to me the most , because i have known friends who became so depressed and couldn't talk to anyone that thier life ended so short because of it. I think the scene in the book that really stood out the most to me and that makes me remember Moia for it is when she flys back home after running away to hollywood and she gets off the plane and see's her mother and smacks the cake out of her hand and on to a mother and her child. Then when father sweeny trys to talk to Moia she tells him to get his filthy hands off of her.

I think the character that is the ost memorable to me was Moia. i think this because she had a hard life she faced so many difficulties during her teen life. She didn't get to do the things that normal and regular teens do because he was so dpressed. At this point she blocked herself out fom the world and everybody in it. The fact she didn't want to speak on the incident that happened made it worst because she kept it inside. Her actions spoke louder than words in this book. The scene that stands out the most is when she commited suicide. I say this because out of everything she was going through it made you think what will happen next. I kind of thought Moia was thinking about killing herself, this why this scene stands out the most.

The most memorable character to me is Maggie Kealey. She has to deal with her daughter's problems as well as her own. She has a stressful life and never once does she get to take a break. The scene that stands out to me the most is when Maggie, Mr. Kealey, and Moia meet Moia's doctor, Mr. Kirschner. Moia is uncooperative during this and Maggie gets so mad that she leaves without saying goodbye. This shows that Maggie couldn't stand it anymore and just lost it. However, after all that she has to deal with it was amazing she kept controlled for that long. Even after this situation Maggie still tried to help her daughter. I think this is what really stood out to me about Maggie, even after bad situations she will still care and try.

The most memorable character to me was Father John Sweeney. I think that most people think of priest as being these perfect people. In this book it shines a light on how priests are normal human beings just like everybody else. Ive never really thought that a priest could be a alcholic because they always seem like theirs nothing wrong.I wonder what caused Father Sweeney to be depressed. I think Father Sweeney may have done something to Moia to cause her to act the way she did toward him.

The most memorable character to me is Father John Sweeney. I think he truly helps the families overcome their issues, especially the Kealey family. With Moia and her issues Father John really tries his best to help Maggie and her family. I think priest today should be more like Father John because even though he has many problems of his own he always has time for each of the families. Father John is a very important character. Wither talking about the Home Show Network, birth control, or Moia’s problems he always seems to lead the families in the right direction. I wonder if today there are many priest like Father John, because I think that priest are someone you can always turn to when you need help. Many people today probably don’t think that priest make mistakes and that they don't mess up but they do and that's why I think Father John stands out because he makes mistakes too. There isn’t anything really different between a priest and regular people and Father really shows that he’s human and he can be a regular person too.

The most memorable character to me in this novel had to be Fathe John Sweeny. The reason I choose him is because to me he did alot of interesting things to remember. The most memorable thing to me was when he was crying after visting Meggie. He knew that she was going through alot and he did the best could to help them. I feel that he think he could have done more for her and her family. Another memorable moment for me was when he was about to fight a person from Rome for saying that priest were perverts. That false statement had made he really angry, but he composed himself with the help of his other fathers.Father John Sweeny was a caring and compasionate man and thats why he is the most memorable to me.

I think the most memorable character in Fatherless is Maggie Kealey. I believe this because Maggie deals with a lot! She has her own stress disorder and on top of that Moia's mental disorder. Maggie stays as tuff as she can throughout the book and not once does she give up. She never gave up on Moia even though she had many problems. She was trying to deal with her own health issues but was still able to manage taking care of Moia and the rest of the family. The part that stands out to me the most is towards the end when Bill Kealey, Maggie's husband, says that he is leaving Maggie and planning on re-marrying to his secretary that spring. Instead of Maggie breaking down she simply stays calm and let's it be. So now not only does she have to deal with the pain from the death of her daughter Moia and her own health issues but now also the hardship of a divorce. Throughout the book, Maggie never gave up! And that's why I think she is the most memorable.

The character that most stands out to me is Moia. Moia had many parts, and showed up in the book many times in many different moods. I think Moia was a very well written and thought about character and Mr. Gail put a lot of focus and power behind the words Moia spoke and her actions throughout the entire novel. Moia stands out to me the most because of the way she handled her problems in the beginning of the book, and how it everything became harder and harder on her. I feel that deep down if Moia wouldve talked about her problems the outcome wouldn't have been the same. Also, her issue and the fact that she committed suicide makes her stand out most. I think that if Moia would'nt have done what she did and handled her problems the way she did she is still the most memorable. When she was having her problems, she was dealing with them by herself and didnt want help from anyone else which also, makes her memorable as her own person. She was someone who didnt really want to associate herself with many people. I think she was a very respectable person however she wouldnt have been a very good friend because she wasnt very social.
