The book or the movie?
Many people like to watch movies whether it's funny, sad or scary. In general many people don't like reading books. So when it comes times for the movies to come have you already read the books or have you not read the books at all. Do you not watch the movie because the book's bad or do you not read the book because the movies bad. Put you choice below and state whether you think they should make more movies based off of books.

For me it takes ahile to find the right book. So when the movie comes out most likely I will not read the book. For example I've seen almost all of the Harry Potter movies but I will not see the book. I guess it's because when you see the book come to life it's more exciting. Once I've started watching movies like that there's no point in reading the book because it will ruin it for me. Sometimes I don't even know that the movie was ever a book. I think they should make more movie's based on books because it's cool to see the book come to life.
I'm split between the two choices. When you have an interesting book, its cool to picture the different scenes and characters in your head. Watching the movie could also be cool too, but your not really using your imagination. To me its better to picture how you think the character looks in your head. Instead of watching a Hollywood superstar actor or actress play the role of the character. I just think using your imagination while reading a book is more fun than watching the movie based on the book.
In my opinion, I love to read a book because I can use my imagination, reading a book can make me feel the romanticism and an emotion that the authors try to write for the readers. I like the way I use to dream the character in the books, that make me feel so exciting and sometimes the books make me feel thrilling while the movie doesn’t. Movie doesn’t tell people the whole parts of the story, it always cut some special event that happen in the books and that make a lot of people outrage. Otherwise, the movie stars that play the role of the character in the books doesn’t look like the person who you use to imagine, and you also have to spend a lot of moneys to buy a ticket to see a movie. Reading a book is more fun than watching a movie, you can use your brain to think about the message that the authors try to say with you throughout the book, and also the book is more convenient and cheaper, you can take it with you everywhere and read it every time. Books also help you know more about the experience in life and make your reading skills level up, Anyway, I think reading a book is the best choice ever.
Sometimes I would like to read the book and sometimes I would rather just watch the movie. When I read the book first and then I go see the movie I like to see the different scenes in the movie to see if I was imagining that part while I was reading similar to the movie. I also like to tell my mom the different parts they took out that was in the book and wasn't in the movie and too see if they reveresed some scence around in movie that wasn't in the order as the book. I like to watch the movie first because if the movie interesting then I might think the book is so then go and try to read the book. I think that it wouldn't matter to me if they made the movie more like the book or kept it the same.
I believe that more movies should be made off of books. My reason is because when I walk into a book store I never know what specific book to get. I only know if I heard of it before. This usually happens when a movie that becomes very popular is based off a book. I ususally then get the book because the book has more detail than the movie. And in having more detail the book turns out to be better than the movie. A lot of people do not like to read, including myself. So with this they don't even bother finding any books. If more movies were based off of books then more people would go out and get those books and read. With this reading would become more enjoyable and more people would find out that reading is not so bad after all.
Personally, I like to read books more than watch the movies because the book always has more details and is usually more interesting. I do like to watch the movies and sometimes they are just as good the books but not always. The movies sometimes leave out good parts in the books or do not happen the way the book explained it. I like reading the books better because I like how they don't leave anything out. Also, the characters who sometimes play the role in the movie don't always match up to be the person you imagined they were in the book. That person might not play the part as well and might not fit the parts that the person in the book is suppose to be. I just find the books better than the movies. They have more to them but sometimes after watching the movie of a book makes me want to read the book. I like to see how different the book is to the movie sometimes.
I honestly prefer the movie rather than the book, not because I don't like to read, only beacause it keeps my attention. If I have to read a bok about something it has to be deeply interesting to keep my attention. I begin to lose interests in some books and don't finish reading them. I often get to the middle of the book and stop.Most of the time the movies are not that much different off the book since its based on it anyway.
In my own oppion I would always chose a movie before I actually read the book. Now in some cases I may read the book after seeing how good the movie was. Or I may see the movie if I just so happen to read the book first. For example, I read Dear John before i seen the movie. If I chose to see a movie after I read the book its because I want to be able to visualize what I have read, or because it was just that good of a book.
I like when i read a interesting book and find out that its being made into a movie. Seeing the movie helps me understand the characters more.I find myself to be a visual learner. I like to see the events in the book on the big screen. I also like to compare the events in the book to the movie.
To be honest i really don't like reading the books that we must read in school. Majority of the time the books are very boring and I loose intrest in them. If we read more books that we can relate to rather than shakespeare maybe I would give the book a chance. To me watching the movie is so much faster than reading the book and most of the time the movies aen't that much different than the book. Although I perfer watching the movie I think reading the book gives you a better understanding of what's going on in the story.
I would rather watch a movie, then if I like it go read the book. Many people always say the book is better because it gives you more detail and visuals than a movie. I think that you can imagine the characters, and the scene in your head as to how you want it to be, use your imagination. But the movie is way better and faster in my opinion. They should try and make more movies based off books, so we can see the difference!

I like to watch movies too but the movies that are based off of books don't always explain everything as well as the book does.
